Post: Library Assistants (two)

Essential requirement: Post graduate qualification in Library and information Science or Associate ship in Information Science from ISI or NISCAIR (Minimum of 60% marks or First class).

Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in a reputed library (Apprentice training will also be considered).

Desirable requirement: Knowledge of both good ICT skills with hands on experience of Library automation and Communication skills.

Age: Not more than 30 years

Emoluments: Rs. 20000 to 25000/-per month, depending upon the merit, experience and qualification, for one year. The selected candidates may be regularized as per Institute norms, depending on performance in pay band 2 (Rs. 9300–34,800) and Grade pay Rs. 4200/- as Library Assistant – Grade I.
