Qualification: B.Sc. (at least 50% marks) with Bachelor's in Library & information Science or equivalent diploma (at least 60% marks) or B.A./B.Com (at least 50% marks) with Bachelor's in Library & information Science or equivalent diploma (at least 60% marks) with 2 years' post qualification experience. 

Desirable Qualification: (i) B.Sc. with BLIS with 2 years' post qualification experience. (ii) BCA

Post:  Technician 'B'

Scale of Pay: Pay Band (PB-l) Rs.5200-20200+Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- 

Qualification: (i) Higher Secondary (at least 50% marks with science &mathematics put together) or Secondary (at least 60% marks) with 4 years' post qualification experience. (ii) Knowledge of using computer. 

Desirable Qualification: (i) Certificate holder in Library & information Science (ii) Certificate holder in computer application. 

Age Limit: Between 18 and 27 years for Technician 'B', 32 years for Scientific Assistant 'B'. Age relaxation as per Govt. rules. 

Note: The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the last date of receiving the application i.e 10th June, 2013. The qualification etc. will also be reckoned on the same date. 

How to Apply: Application fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred) only should be submitted in the form of demand draft in favour of Registrar, Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics payable at Kolkata. SC/ST/PWD/Female candidates will not be required to submit any fees. Application giving full details for the post along with the attested copies of relevant certificates/testimonials in the prescribed proforma available in the website with a recent passport size photograph pasted on the right hand top corner of the application should reach the Establishment Officer, Saha lnstitute of Nuclear Physics, 1lAF, Bidhannagar, Kolkata-7O0 064 within 4.00 p. m. on or before 10th June, 2013 duly superscribed as "Application for the post of ..." mentioning the category viz.
