Qualifications & Experience:
a) Ph.D in Library Science.
b) Experience: For Scientist
E1 - 7 years after M.Lib. Science/5 years after Ph.D. in Library Science and for
Scientist E2 - 10years after M.Lib. Science/ 7 years after Ph.D. in Library
Science.
c) Publications in indexed
and refereed national/international journals
Age: Below 40 years for E1 and 45years for E2 as on the
date of closure of applications (Relaxable in the case of deputation
candidates).
Pay Band + Grade Pay: P.B – Rs.15,600-39,100+G.P. Rs.7,600 for E1 or
Rs.37,400- 67,000 + G.P.Rs.8,700 for E2 plus allowances as per the Council
rules.
Application: Relaxation in upper age limit will be allowed as per rules to
candidates belonging to SC/ST, OBC, etc. Age limit will be relaxed in the case
of internal candidates. In the case of exceptionally meritorious candidates,
relaxation in the requirements may apply. The Executive Vice President, KSCSTE
reserves the right to fill or not to fill the above positions. Separate
application shall be submitted for each position, if any candidate desires to
apply for more than one position. Applications with detailed bio-data affixing
passport size photograph, shall reach the Executive Vice President, KSCSTE on
or before 27th June, 2012.
